Solitaire Games for iPhone and iPad

Solitaire games can ask you to build, untangle, pair, or clear. The right choice depends on the kind of puzzle you enjoy. Klondike Gold 24K brings six familiar modes together in an illustrated mountain setting, with a native iPhone and iPad app coming soon. Start with the differences below to find a game that suits your next quiet moment.

Build foundations or clear the table

Klondike and FreeCell share a destination: four suit foundations built from Ace to King. Their starting positions feel very different. Klondike hides cards beneath seven columns and keeps more in the stock. FreeCell shows all 52 cards from the start and gives you four temporary cells. One rewards careful discovery; the other makes planning space part of almost every move.

Spider asks for eight complete King-to-Ace runs in ten columns. Pyramid and Tri Peaks use a different goal: remove all 28 layout cards. Pyramid clears pairs totaling thirteen, while Tri Peaks follows cards one rank above or below the current draw card.

Choose a starting point

Choose Klondike if you want the familiar draw-one game. Classic Solitaire uses a draw-three stock for a different challenge within the same foundation-building rules. Try FreeCell when you want to study an open layout before committing to a move. Our Spider mode uses one suit, so you can concentrate on ranks and columns.

Pyramid is a natural place to practice spotting complementary pairs such as a five and an eight. Tri Peaks suits a rhythm of short card chains: a seven can lead to a six, then a five, then back to a six. You can explore another mode whenever you want a change.

A welcoming table, with room to learn

The collection includes hints, Undo, optional easy taps, and a locally saved game. Each mode also offers a solvable warm-up before a full shuffled deal. A warm-up is a teaching position; it does not mean every later shuffled game is guaranteed to have a solution.

The app pairs ivory heritage cards and blue engraved backs with forests, rivers, and gold controls. Optional music and table scenery let you set the mood. These pages explain the games; the native app is coming soon, and this website does not currently deal playable browser games.

Common questions

Which solitaire game should I learn first?

Draw-one Klondike is a useful starting point because you can learn alternating-color columns and Ace-to-King foundations one card at a time. Pyramid is another approachable choice if you prefer matching pairs.

Are Classic Solitaire and Klondike different games here?

They use the same basic Klondike rules. In this collection, Klondike draws one card and Classic Solitaire draws three, so the stock changes how you plan.

Does the collection include four-suit Spider?

The current Spider mode uses one suit: spades. Two-suit and four-suit Spider are not part of the current collection.
